Supplied new on the 28th of January 2009 the V5 shows just 2 former keepers from new which is extremely rare for an R8 of this generation. Purchased "Approved Used" from Audi Neyland by a Mr Rees in November 2014 at 42,432 miles. The last owner acquired in November 2017 and has owned since.

Mechanical Condition:
In my opinion, the R8 with open gate Manual Gearbox is a bona fide modern classic and very enjoyable to drive. The naturally aspirated V8 enjoy has ample power for road use and can be exploited and enjoyed with the click / clank of open gated manual shifts. There are no warning lights on the dashboard after extended test drive and supplied freshly serviced / inspected. Premium Pirelli tyres fitted all round with good tread. There is no vibration or pulling from the steering wheel. This R8 has been very well maintained and covered very little mileage in recent years. Naturally aspirated V8 engines and manual gearboxes are now from what I think will be considered a golden generation in the near future, add in the quality and design of the R8 and this represents incredible value and enjoyment in my opinion. Exterior Condition:
Presented in very desirable Daytona Grey Pearl with Black Side Blades and Grey 19 inch wheels, this is a gorgeous car. This Gen 1 R8 is still a stunning design that seems to get better with age. This car is in exceptional condition for the age and mileage.Paint correction to front end with no stone chips on bonnet or bumper. Original Audi windscreen still fitted. There are no scuffs to bumpers or car park dents. There is no other significant damage. The wheels are very clean with no ingrained dirt or curbing damage to the edges. Interior Condition:
Superb Audi interior quality enhanced by the gorgeous open gated manual. Gear shifts are very satisfying and the flat bottom steering wheel is very tactile. The Bang and Olufsen cost option audio is also a superb option. There is no evidence this example has been smoked in or used to carry pets and there are no lingering smells. There is no excess wear to any of the buttons. There is some minor wear to the Nappa seats to be expected but no excess or detracting from over all condition. The carpets and over carpets are very clean with no excess dirt or wear. There is practical luggage room under the bonnet for weekend bags etc. The engine bay is beautifully designed and presented in very clean condition.
