Mechanical Condition:
This SL has an excellent provenance being just 2 Owners from new with documented service and maintenance history all by Mercedes and genuine Mercedes specialist. There are no warning lights on the dashboard after extended test drive. The 3.7 litre V6 engine is extremely smooth and reliable, likewise the 5 speed gearbox. Premium Continental tyres fitted all round with the rears replaced in March 2019 at 72,282 miles and fronts new (March 2021). New BOSCH battery fitted in February 2018. This example drives very well indeed and is a credit to the long term gentleman owner. An excellent MOT history with the only advisory item on the most recent being front tyres (replaced with new). Supplied freshly serviced by Mercedes, any test drive or inspection welcome.

Exterior Condition:
Presented in rare and beautiful Topaz Blue this is a great looking SL with the roof up or down. The bodywork is in exceptional condition for the year and has clearly been cherished. There are no scuffs to bumpers, car park dents or other significant damage. There is no corrosion to the arches (see pictures) which are in excellent condition. The wheels are very clean with no ingrained dirt or curbing damage to the outer edges. The rear exhaust pipes are very clean as per pictures. Interior Condition:
Beautiful light interior with Alpaca Grey Leather and Aluminium trim. This SL also has very rare and expensive option, Alcantara Headlining. There is no evidence this car has been smoked in or used to carry pets and there are certainly no lingering smells. The perforated leather is all in excellent order with no ingrained dirt or scuffing damage to bolsters. There is no excess wear or scratching to any of interior trim or buttons. The boot area is very clean with no stains or lingering smells etc.

An outstanding condition and specification example far superior to the vast majority of similar age or priced examples.
