Mechanical Condition:
As can be seen from the provenance and large service history portfolio, this SL has been very well maintained by a fastidious owner. This example has covered a genuine low mileage and been the owners pride and joy. The 3.5 litre engine is powerful, efficient and very reliable with smooth, effortless progress. The 7 speed automatic is equally smooth making for swift, relaxing progress. With 17 inch wheels, ride quality is also superb and much comfier than models with AMG Wheels and Sport Suspension. Premium Continental tyres all round with 6mm tread, another sign of how the car has been maintained. New convenience battery fitted 2023. Superb service and VOSA MOT history. Exterior Condition:
In my opinion, this is the best looking R230 model SL we have ever offered in such a rare colour combination. Presented in rare Indigolite Blue Metallic with Panoramic Roof and Natural Leather this example looks superb with the roof up or down. Bodywork is in exceptional order for the year and commensurate with low mileage and good provenance. Parktronic with no scuffs to bumpers, car park dents or other notable marks. Interior Condition:
The special specification continues on the inside with very rare Natural Leather, Burr Walnut, Panoramic Roof and Air Scarf. The interior is presented in absolutely exceptional condition throughout. There is no ingrained dirt, wear damage or dis-coloration to the bolsters etc. The carpets and Mercedes over carpets are very clean with no ingrained dirt or wear damage. Never smoked in or used to carry pets and no lingering smells.
