The R231 Generation SL is renowned for its build quality and reliability with major improvements over the previous generation. The 4.7 litre V8 BiTurbo engine is effortless and extremely powerful, particularly in this generation SL with much lighter, all Aluminium construction. The engine and gear change are seamless with no warning lights on the dashboard. Due to the Aluminium construction there is no scuttle shake and ride quality is exceptional for a roadster, the perfect GT car. This SL has an excellent provenance and Full Mercedes Main Dealer History, it is in superb mechanical condition. Premium Michelin / Bridgestone tyres all round in good condition with good tread.
