This SL 500 has good provenance and Full Service History. The 5.0 litre V8 engine and 5 speed gearbox have legendary reliability and this low mileage example is no exception. Very smooth delivery and an absolute the pleasure to drive. The tyres are all Premium Pirelli items with good tread, another sign this car has been maintained to the highest standard. Presented in vey desirable Tellur Silver Metallic with upgrade 18 inch wheels this is a very attractive example. The bodywork is in exceptional order for the year. There is no corrosion to the wheel arches, they are in very good order. There are no scuffs to bumpers, car park dents or other significant marks. The wheels are in very clean condition with no ingrained dirt or curb damage. There is no ingrained dirt to the twin exhaust pipes. Interior Condition:
This SL has very rare Delta Blue Two Tone Interior which contrasts with Tellur Silver perfectly. This example has never been smoked in or used to carry pets and there are certainly no lingering smells. There is no wear to the switches or steering wheel buttons. The carpets and MB over carpets are all very clean with no heel damage or ingrained dirt. There is no excess wear to the leather or ingrained dirt. The door shuts are all very clean. Under the engine bay is extremely clean.
