We have just taken this outstanding condition 911 in part exchange from the owner of the last 8 years against one of our Ferrari 360's. This was a garaged (under Porsche car cover) 2nd car and has only covered around 2k dry miles in the last 8 years. Mechanical Condition:
This 997 Carrera 2 benefits from the 3.6 litre engine which has plenty of power and does not suffer with the same issues as the early 3.8 litre cars. The tiptronic gearbox in this car also means there has been no 'over rev' issues. The engine and gearbox are very smooth and operate as they should. There are no warning lights on the dashboard after extended test drive or issues. An impressive VOSA MOT history shows the car has been well maintained. Premium Michelin Pilot Sport ('N' rated) tyres are fitted all round with approx 4 / 5 mm tread, another sign this car has been maintained to a high standard. Sports rear exhaust but not much louder than standard in my opinion and not intrusive on the motorway. Supplied with fresh major service from Porsche Specialist (June 2020). Exterior Condition:
This is the best 'GT3 Evocation' we have seen and looks superb in the flesh. This is a cherished car and NOT an accident damaged, abused or neglected example (as they often are). Garaged during our customers ownership and under a genuine Porsche Car Cover. The paintwork is pristine all round with no car park dents, noticeable stone chips or scuffing. The wheels are in good condition with no ingrained dirt. The exhaust is very clean, see pictures. All the door shuts, bolts etc are very clean with no ingrained dirt. Interior Condition:
The interior condition is equally impressive maintaining its original aroma and showing minimal wear. Never been smoked in (original lighter never used) or used to carry pets and there are certainly no lingering smells. There is no wear or damage to any of the buttons (as is common) and all in working order, including the AC. There is no wear or damage to the leather and the electric, heated sports seats are very comfortable. Porsche over carpets and carpets are very clean with no ingrained dirt or heel damage.
